Sriracha Honey Meatball Bowls are a delicious fusion of sweet and spicy flavors, featuring tender meatballs coated in a zesty sriracha honey sauce, served over a bed of rice or noodles.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together sriracha, honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to create the sauce.
  5. Brush the sauce over the meatballs, reserving some for later.
  6. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. Serve the meatballs over cooked rice or noodles, drizzling with the remaining sauce and garnishing with additional green onions.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with plant-based meat.
  • Adjust the amount of sriracha to control the spice level.
  • These meatballs can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
