A quick and delicious one-pan meal featuring salmon and pasta in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet.
  4. Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  5. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  7. Add honey and soy sauce, stirring to combine.
  8. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  9. Flake the salmon and add it back to the skillet, mixing gently.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Feel free to substitute the salmon with chicken or shrimp.
  • This dish is best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
