Cherry Iced Tea is a refreshing summer drink that combines the sweetness of cherries with the invigorating taste of iced tea, perfect for hot days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 tea bags (black or green tea)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the tea bags and let steep for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  4. Add the pitted cherries to the tea and let it cool to room temperature.
  5. Once cooled, strain the mixture to remove the cherries.
  6. Refrigerate the tea until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
