- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted and chopped
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
- 1 tablespoon milk (for icing)
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add flour and knead until a soft dough forms. Let it rise for 1 hour.
