  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and slice the bell peppers into strips.
  3. In a large bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the sliced peppers to the bowl and toss until well coated.
  5. Spread the peppers in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
