A delicious and visually striking cheesecake designed to resemble a spooky spiderweb, perfect for Halloween celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Black food coloring
  • White chocolate, melted (for spiderweb decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition, then stir in sour cream and heavy cream.
  5. Divide the batter in half and mix black food coloring into one half.
  6. Pour the plain batter into the crust, followed by the black batter, swirling gently to create a marbled effect.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  8. Once chilled, drizzle melted white chocolate in a spiderweb pattern on top of the cheesecake.
  9. Garnish with plastic spiders for a spooky touch before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature for a smooth batter.
  • For a more intense black color, add more food coloring as needed.
  • Let the cheesecake cool completely before refrigerating to avoid cracks.
