A quick and flavorful recipe for spicy Italian meatballs that can be prepared in just 35 minutes.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. While the meatballs are baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Once meatballs are done, add them to the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with pasta or on a sub roll.

Notes

  • For extra heat, increase the amount of red pepper flakes.
  • These meatballs can be frozen for later use.
  • Serve with garlic bread for a complete meal.
