  • 1 packet active dry yeast

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add the softened butter, eggs, and the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Incorporate the raisins into the dough.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  7. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
  8. Place the loaf in a greased loaf pan and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
