A simple and delicious recipe for Oreo truffles that anyone can easily make at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz chocolate (dark or white, for coating)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and softened cream cheese until well blended.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. While the truffles are chilling, melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler.
  6. Once the truffles are firm, dip each one into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated.
  7. Return the coated truffles to the baking sheet and let them set until the chocolate hardens.
  8. Optional: Drizzle additional melted chocolate on top for decoration.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, try using flavored cream cheese.
  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • These truffles can be frozen for longer storage; just thaw before serving.
