A simple and delicious no-knead bread recipe featuring cranberries and nuts, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/4 cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  2. Add the dried cranberries and chopped nuts to the dry ingredients.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the warm water and honey, then pour it into the dry mixture.
  4. Stir until just combined; the dough will be sticky.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 12 to 18 hours.
  6. After resting, preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
  7. Once heated, carefully remove the Dutch oven, and place the dough inside (you can shape it if desired).
  8. Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
