  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook the chicken in the skillet for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over each piece.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the marinara sauce.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
