  • 6 ears of sweet corn
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Shuck the corn and remove all silk.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  3. Add the corn to the boiling water and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  4. While the corn is cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  5. Once the corn is cooked, remove it from the water and let it drain.
  6. Brush the melted butter over the corn and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add garlic powder or paprika to the butter.
  • This recipe can be easily doubled for larger gatherings.
  • Fresh corn is best, but frozen corn can be used in a pinch.
