  • 1/2 cup Irish cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked
  • 1/2 cup lettuce
  • 1/2 cup tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Irish cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined and form into 4 patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  5. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of bacon on each patty to warm it up.
  6. Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
