  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned on both sides.
  4. In a bowl, mix heavy cream and chopped basil, then pour over the chicken in the skillet.
  5. Top each chicken breast with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with additional basil if desired.
