- 1 block firm tofu, pressed and drained
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Press and drain the tofu to remove excess moisture.
- Cut the tofu into cubes and toss them in cornstarch until evenly coated.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the tofu cubes and fry until golden and crispy on all sides.
- Pour the sauce over the crispy tofu and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until sticky.
