Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine cranberries, apples, sugar, and apple cider vinegar.
  2. Add chopped onion, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  4. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool before transferring to jars.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
