Cherry Cheesecake Brownies are a rich and indulgent dessert that combines the flavors of creamy cheesecake and sweet cherries with fudgy brownies.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
  4. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Spread the remaining brownie batter on top of the cherries.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
  • Chill the brownies in the refrigerator for a firmer texture before serving.
  • Top with whipped cream for an extra treat!
