A delicious sandwich featuring turkey, crispy bacon, and melted cheddar cheese on toasted sourdough bread.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • 4 oz sliced turkey
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 slices cooked bacon
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
  2. Layer turkey, bacon, and cheddar cheese on the unspread side of one slice.
  3. Top with the other slice of bread, mayonnaise side facing out.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
  5. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Flip the sandwich and cook the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some avocado or tomato slices.
  • Use whole grain sourdough for a healthier option.
  • Can be made in a panini press for a crispy finish.
