2 large onions, thinly sliced

1 teaspoon sugar
4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced onions.
Sprinkle sugar over the onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.
Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
Place the pastry squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
