Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups banana peppers, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the banana peppers by removing the stems and seeds, then chop them finely.

  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before transferring to sterilized jars.
  6. Seal the jars and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before using to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes
