A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese, featuring crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 4 strips of bacon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook to your desired doneness (scrambled or fried).
  3. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  4. On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer cheese, bacon, and eggs.
  5. Top with the other two slices of bread, buttered side up.
  6. Grill in the skillet over medium heat until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Remove from skillet, slice, and serve warm.
