  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup apple pie filling
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread apple pie filling evenly on top.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon over the filling and roll the dough tightly.
  7. Cut the rolled dough into slices and place them in a greased baking dish.
  8. Let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and milk to create a glaze and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
