  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the apple cider, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fill the donut pan with the batter, about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
